ranger should be added as a choice imo. if any class is gimp in classic its gonna be rogues pre vox spear.

For single boxing rangers wont be as bad since there is going to be less people running around with sow and buffs as compared to how it was on vztz, at least thats my opinion

Never played on an EQ pvp server or a ranger, so I'll probably roll ranger and get pooped on for a little while

Rogues were pretty bad in prekunark for the most part, most of who attempted to kill casters died from damage shield and only 1 or 2 nukes or the pet alone, as for rangers, all they did was hug zone lines vs casters, hit you a few times and zoned when you started casting a spell ( the smarter ones anyway ) and the bad ones just died... So if your idea of pvp is zoning/dying ninety nine percent of the time and killing for the rest, then go ahead and choose a ranger.
