Won't be that simple.

The Norrathian Court precedent states that a name change will not be sufficient to wipe past transgressions and reset any penalty stacking. The new guild must be materially different with a substantial (~50%) change in both membership and leadership.

Culkasi, you absolute mentally deficient brainlet, I adore how naive you are and it puts a smile on my face to see you here defending what you know to be absolutely riddled with greed. Congratulations, you've gotten half of the competition banned for 30 days. Oh boy, I hope this means the reckoning has finally occurred and your ridiculous little alliance can sit at the big boy table and maybe get a new pair of shoes for your level 59 main. Watching you perform these mental gymnastics here in front of everyone is the cutest thing I've seen all week. If you think, even for a femtosecond, that getting Awakened banned for 30 days is going to equal anything for you or your guild other than increased hostility between you and the actual raiding guilds on this server, I truly admire your mental dexterity. Great job, my friend, you've just made it so about 100 people can't enjoy raiding for a month so that your goofy ass guild alliance can get absolutely shit on by one guild instead of two for a change. I would sooner vote to merge A/A and defy you even the most humble of pixels than share ToV with you once a week. Seeing you come here and proclaim how you and your guild have been victimized time and time again by the horrible powers that be, it's powerful. I'm sure that in the end, A/A will just have to sit down and negotiate with you the way you want.

when this is the default mindset you are in, where you think most people share your crazy world view, your lust has nearly peaked

it is essential in this time to try and distance yourself from pixels and pixel triggers to maintain any hope of rehabilitation
P99 I present to you the 'high road' argument. Anytime someone takes 'the high road' on you, you know it's because they have absolutely no other choice and your words left a mark.

Long / harsh punishments are good. Server for too long has been a "Shoot first, ask forgiveness later" type of mentality.

People should be incredibly careful of raid pulls instead of "lul whoops sorry".
