I began in 2000, on Rathe server with a half elf warrior named Norris, clearly this was before Chuck Norris WOW memes came out as this name was readily available! I remember grouping with a halfling cleric named Teanini often times back then.

I then found out about PVP servers later and went to Rallos Zek. I joined Flowers of Happiness for a short while on my erudite wizard till I found out everyone hated us so I left that guild and PVP'd solo all the time.

Then, when SZ opened, I went to SZ and made a neutral Half Elf named Baxster where I remember exploring Velious when it first came out with my pal Bezer a dwarf rogue and Suldavin a pally.

Anyway, the journey continued for many years till EQ2 came out then I went there after about 6-8 months after EQ started.

I started pvp on rz around luclin

As a noob it was pretty tough. You would zone into PC and there would be like 4 ogre sks casting bio orb on you as soon as you zoned in

I just wonder how I managed to get my erudite wizard to 24 lvl as a complete noob on RZ. Just leaving Erudin had to be hard, let alone leveling up with no gears.

The only purebloods are folks who started MMO gaming before the role-playing games like EQ took over the gamespace, on long-forgotten services such as GEnie. You EQ kids can get off my lawn.
