Never had a Facebook, happy to say I'm one of the few people in their 20's that can honestly say that.
Never understood why people are so desperate for attention. If my friends want to get in touch with me we use this real old school shit called "a telephone" and it has served me well.

I use facebook to keep in touch with my friends and family but the bullshit they all post about makes me want to permanently avoid all of humanity.

If a picture or video is shared and it does not use Facebook's image or video hosting service, it will be surpreessed. If an image or video does use those things, it will be promoted. This isn't particularly relevant to what we are talking about right now, but it is very shitty because it basically stifles people linking to original content and promotes pages that steal and rehost content without giving credit. The real problem is that posts are limited on how many people they reach and how much they show up on people's wall, however, the number of people who see a post is increased by two factors: 1. The person/page making the post can pay money to have it reach more people. 2. The more comments and reactions (not just likes, but angry faces, hearts, etc) a post gets, the more likely it is to show up. This means that the most controversial shit is what you end up seeing. Your friend makes a post "Going to the beach tomorrow, anyone want to come?" - you won't see it on your timeline. Your friend reacts with a like or a frowny face to some stupid political post with like 200,000 reactions / comments on it? TO THE TOP OF YOUR NEWS FEED! It's not that your friends and family are stupid, it's that Facebook purposely shows you the most stupid shit they've interacted with almost exclusively.

you kno, I did go through my feed for about a week and any post that was a link to a media outlet, any article shared, any bullshit political share, I went through and hit
Hide from my news feed > hide all from [the media outlet the post was] from your newsfeed after doing that for about 800 billion shitty shares stupid idiots i call my friends and family, made on facebook.. I got rid of basically all news on my feed. its great Unless all the libcucks and beta males I am friends with decide to get all cunty and post #metoo on their feed, then Id have to hide them specifically. Which is sutpid, just because I think youre a libcuck beta male or fat socialist librtard whale, doesnt mean I dont want to be friends with you. But sometimes they make it almost impossible to keep on the feed with their permenent fireants up their pussy holes and penis holes that got them all upset all the time. But anywho, hiding major media outlets from my feed seems to work pretty good. I havent seen a salon.com article in months.
