But seriously, if someone bought $10,000 of them and it went up 10%, it would be $11,000. Even though each one is small, it still matters if it grows (or shrinks). Right?

6 months ago things were shooting up 100% or more.

I made $6 or 7 thousand in two days off some of those cheap alt coins.

Correct, % fluctuation is all that matters. By Tomato's logic the US dollar is worthless because of how cheap it is compared to one bitcoin. No one believes this because it isn't true.
