bitcoin will crash like all currencies that get over inflated do, and all the in the knows will cash out and leave all the moms and dads get caught with their 1,000's$ invested -- such is the way with all these sorts of hysteria based investments. Much like banks printing money to loan to people to buy homes to earn the interest off incomes of the person paying the mortage off, who's to say that inventor/group that started bitcoin wont just print more bitcoins?

it's not legislated, just like the banking industry isn't btw, it's just a set of rules some people invented to make the exchanges safe...much like the banking industry.

anyone buying it to bitcoin now is fucking retarded because that boat sailed years ago, now it's just a heading towards a crash.

(in before a bitcoin hardcore fan( like a hardcore vegan does ) jumps down my throat about the technicalities of how this will never happen

IT"S LIKE RMT BOYS, YOU'RE BUYING NOTHING WITH YOUR MONEY, AT ANY TIME ROG-DAWG CAN PULL THE PLUG AND YOUR FICTIONAL 1/8th OF A BIT COIN IS GONE!

Bitcoin down to almost 13k right now. Will it keep falling? I realize there's at least a few of you here excited by the notion of getting rich quick, but this shit is so unstable. Don't get me wrong tho, these prices make me wish I had saved all that cheap BTC I spent on the silk road 6 years ago.

You can't just print more bitcoins...... There is a maximum of 21 million BTC (about 16 million BTC have been mined so far). This is one of the reasons people like it as a currency.

But governments will probably never allow it survive as anything more than a ad-hoc currency for making digital transactions.
