Would it be against the rules if a villainous enchanter charmed one of the more dangerous monsters in the zone and parked it next to these quest non-playing characters, assuming this tactic could be accomplished?

In the grand scheme, I am a relative newbie overall and do not know all the ins and outs of the game. I just play it "as is" for fun.

There's all sorts of ways to derail this thing. To quote my old Lineage II clan leader, Kamisama, "Voodoo, take off your weapon and ice him. Jesus fucking Christ. You need to learn how to fucking grief people."

R.I.P. Nibblewitz, who died for your sins.

God bless the little gnome who spent hours of his irreclaimable life Disintegrating the Breadquest NPC so that exploiting noobs couldn't turn in when they pulled it to bridge.

He took a suspension, and then they stealth nerfed the quest.

Godspeed.

How do you get suspended for killing an NPC? Stupid.

You're a hero, Nibble.

Is Nibblewitz a <Rustle> ranger? I seen the NPCs killed only one time and it was some ranger from <Rustle>.

Let's be fair. Nibble was griefing 10-20 players at a time by killing their Quest mob. For hours on end, for days on end. If we figure he policed the Bread Bridge for 2 hours a night, 5 nights in a row, and stopped 10 players from their quest, he effectively wasted 100 elf hours (conservative estimate). Under any circumstance this player would get suspended for zone disruption/whatever.

On the other hand, they nerfed the quest super hard at the same exact time. To the point where it's not even worth doing anymore.

I read this as "you overstepped as a vigilante, but the Authorities agree that this has gotta change." So they slap him on the wrist and take over as the server police by fixing the exploit.

I consider this a badge of honor for old Nibblewitz, and I hope he wears it proudly.

I was a fairly notorious griefer back in my early 20s, so I understand the implications of what he was doing, thank you. That doesn't change the fact that he got suspended for killing an NPC. Completely legal. That it happened to be quest NPC a bunch of exploiters want to do buisiness with is irrelevant. If inconviencing other players by killing mobs is illegal, A/A is overdue for a permaban.
