Money can't fix your problems. Buying people gifts to secure a friendship sounds pretty insecure to me. Being proud of being a tax scammer is similar to Ryantwin thinking highly of himself. I see a lot of similarities between you two. He constantly feels that need to assert that too and just like you, he probably thinks he's the one trolling too. Good luck with that.

Sorry to break the news to you but there are a lot of tax scammers out there. It doesn't take a genius to exploit people who owe money to the government and doesn't have much regulation.

So did you work as a contractor who could pull huge $/hour?

Did you leverage the rare skill into your own company, then sell it?

It makes a difference in terms of the strategy necessary to actually pool enough capital, invest, repool, invest etc., to have a million in assets/cash

You can save $1m working almost anywhere, you just need to save a little each year. You don't have to be Mark Cuban. If you are asking someone on a video game forum advice on how to be rich you probably aren't the entrepreneur type.

If you have no skills but went to college go into corporate finance.

If you didn't then go do construction or something.

You can save $1m by sucking at what you do, floating and only saving $15k per year for 28 years at 6%. If you don't suck and can get some good company benefits you can do it much quicker.

Good luck.

There is a big difference between someone who floats for 30 years to save up a million and someone who makes that million with 5 concentrated years.

As I said, it's very unlikely I will find someone to talk to in an intelligent way about this goal here. But on the off chance, there's really no harm in asking [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

FWIW I think you actually gave a very well reasoned answer considering your inaccurate but understandable assumption. I'm actually a partial owner of an online marketing company with our own host of products. Goal is to sell it next year. Puts me in the position atm of being paid less than I should be but much bigger reward if we pull off our goals

Love you all dear elf friends, back to writing for work.
