When is this happening? Or should I say if?

This patch came out in Nov 2001. Luclin came out in Dec 2001. This patch ever hitting P99 is defiantly a 'maybe'.

1) The devs have spent lots of time on the current incarnation of P99, reworking all the damage tables and skill caps is probably a very low priority.

2) I would submit that this is a Luclin prepatch and not 'classic' in nature. The only reason they did this is to balance classes out against Beastlords and the new content that was coming out on The Moon.

3) Don't hold your breath for 2h changes or triple attack

Not to mention it's all just entirely guesswork anyways as to how to implement that balance on P99 when your starting point isn't the same.

They've said Chardok revamp will be released, and this patch is the Chardok revamp I would say it's a certainty, but could be a while.

There's probably other posts but I quoted this in another thread recently so was easy to find. Post Telin in December necroing a 2 year old thread to say that the Karana's will return to their normal state with the Chardok revamp

Nov 2001 patch will come. Despite it being a stepping stone patch for luclin. Which luclin wont come. Doesn't mean it's not classic. To be entirely classic-velious. Servers would have to include the final velious patch. This is how ERA based server work. The devs will use all the evidence they have access to, to provide the best possible accurate emulation.

speculating or trying to predict when any patch on p99 will come out is fruitless. Just wait patiently if it contains something you're interested in. Talking about the mechanics is good though. Maybe someone can drum up more evidence of mechanics other than a 1 page patch note.

Excluding any classic-velious content would be Not Classic.
excluding exploits

ogre Warriors will still be the best raid tank.

This doesn't seem like a very hard change, all of the data already exists in game. Warriors already have triple attack which monks will be getting, knights are getting changed to the current warrior table, and the rest of the skills are just getting maxed higher.

Warrior have triple attack? Since when? Maybe the patch will happen or maybe it wont, I just think there will be some internal debate on weather or not to make melee even more powerful or not. I dont think them revamping Chardok means much in regards to overhauling knights and monks. I think you can honestly debate either side of the argument well as to what is more 'classic'. Only time will tell

Changing skill caps on p99 seems to be a ball ache, and often bugs out.
