While Manafort is a corrupt criminal, there's no denying that this was done for political reasons.

Tariffs are a great idea, the threat of increasing tariffs is getting business's to source both products, labor and grow product in america instead of growing them outside the us and bringing them in for less money.

The goal is to make it cost the same amount so you might as well grow / produce here. Which is good for americans.

which in the near term means americans paying more for groceries, gas, everything etc. we're a fickle lot and the finance monsters know it. we will be punished and frankly after a century of opening markets at gunpoint, may deserve it.
