If only we could work in Lock Out timers. All of this could be avoided. Then again, new threads would arise complaining "its not classic".

I think of threads like this everytime in a Pantheon forum someone is lecturing about the importance of "Competition". No - It was, and it is, horrible on a 7 day mechanic.

The only true/good competition is everyone on an even playing field , and bragging rights about who did it first. THat only came with lockout timers or instancing. I think we know which one worked better :P

But right now everyone is on an even playing field. Its just some people are upset that others commit more time than them

Not sure if people literally cannot see how ridiculous P99 raid rules are because they are insane, or if they just refuse to admit it when they get what they want.

But. Before this it was even worse. Do you want every spawn to be like a Lodi fte with 30 lvl 1 pets spam attacking right on what ever mobs spawn you're after? Most the rules are to stop that sillyness. Nothing's perfect but the alternative is much worse as is easily exploitable.

Correct, but just because there's a worse alternative doesn't mean that the current ruleset isn't terrible. I don't think the mentality of having to keep the top-end happy needs to exist on this server after all that has happened, even if it affects me negatively. There's a lot more guilds out there than A/A, CSG, Rustle, etc. Nothing changes after bans.

This server is full of selfish crazies. P99 might just be a rehabilitation program for mental hospitals.
