Many new adventurers pass by the bank on their way out to Gfay, and he used to be the best way to quickly get from 1-5 (especially with a SoW), and used to award nearly 3pp a hand in. Devs fixed it, but 12-16gp still isn't terrible [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
