In classic it only increases mana by 2 per tic. In fact I'm not even sure if that increases at all as you level. I don't think they made it better till 2005.
I'm just saying... Quote:

in kunark u dont even get the spell til 16. they were changing the regen amount for level 14...sometimes u have to read a little carefully.
and whatever the regen amount is. it's worth it. making excuses by saying its not that good is so not the way to go here. nor is saying, oh just hurry up and get to 29 for clarity. the fact is that some lowbie enchanters have the spell, and it's flat out UNFAIR that the rest of us can't get it. I don't know how hard the fix is, but apparently not that hard, cause the port spells took all of 3 min of server downtime to put on the vendors on the fly on kunarks opening night.

It was 2 mana per tic, that's a fact.

See, I understand that you are trying to calm people down and I respect this. I also am fully aware that the regen bonus is a minor one and not really game breaking or changing. And I also agree with whoever suggested that in the time this thread has taken people could have leveled to 29 already and have Clarity.
On the other hand, one major thing that made me roll an Enchater besides CCing and Jewelcraft was the ability to increase mana regen. I'm a crack addict, always been. I'm already missing KEI MGBs since I started playing on P99. Also, these days my playtime is rather limited, I'm a casual player nowadays with a spike here and there with me playing more than a few hours a day. Sometimes I dont have time to log in for a week or more. Thus grinding those 13 levels from 16 to 29 to get Clarity would take me quite some time, even with exclusive playtime on the chanter. I've been looking to get Breeze since Kunark release was drawing near. That's the only reason I've started playing this char again. Eventually, dont get me wrong, I'm not heartbroken about not getting Breeze. I rolled a mage instead and enjoying it very much. Yet, I would greatly appreciate any kind of notice whats going on with the spell. Is it a simple fix that going online soon(tm)? Is it something deep within the coe / tables not worth the attention right now? Is it intended or a bug? Anything official would be better than what we have now. The very fact that this thread has 40+ replies and almost 2k views shows clearly that it of a great interest to people. More than a simple 2 mana per tic.

well all the "calming" that's being attempted is not working.
2 mana per tick at low level is just as much as clarity at high level. anyone suggesting u should just level fast and get clarity can take a hike the fact is this: a few lucky enchanters got breeze. the other ones are left out. i get a ton of tells for breeze a day and people act like i'm a retard and don't know how to find a spell vendor cause i can't cast it. the very least that should happen is for a dev to take 30 seconds to respond to the thread telling us when to expect it to be fixed and we can't even get that.

In my case, the "calming" is working as I just stfu about it. It doesn't matter what you or I want, we don't run the server. They don't really care or see any difference between people who support the server by donations or those who just leech like 1/2 the schleps around here. They're not all in this for us or our happiness. The sooner we figure that out, the sooner we stop getting annoyed about how things are done around here. We play on their server, we play by their rules. If we don't like it.. there's the door. We can all recognize or piss off as far as some are concerned. If we're not posting a full-blown documented bug, and we're not making a dig at a dev, they pretty much couldn't care less. Took me almost a year to figure that out, but I finally got a lame-ass ban and it became pretty clear. And no this isn't a dig at anyone. This is simply how it is, or at least how it's been shown to be to me.

Sure, it would be "nice" if a dev would come on and give you an update. You aren't entitled to anything and bugging them every 12 hours surely isn't accomplishing anything. Feign Death for a monk = class defining. Fear for a Necromancer = class defining. Freaking 2 mana regen for an enchanter, omfg chill out. If it's the loss of, "Casting Breeze at T1 for donations" that you're losing out on, /tell vonkaar in game and I'll hook you up with some plat, and I'm certainly not rich. I just quickly tire of petty posts like this.
For all you know, there are 5+ devs sitting around thinking about quitting P1999 because of whining ingrates like yourself and it's these threads that might push one of them over the edge. Remember that this is a free game that is only possible because of the efforts of hard working developers & sys admins. Say thank you. Report bugs. Think to yourself, "it'd be nice if we had an update," but for the sake of those that want this good thing to last - stop bugging the devs.

It is not like it takes a lot of code. I am not sure of syntax, but it would be no more than something like
set quantity of breeze spells on appropriate vendor to 10000

Many years ago, I was doing systems administration work for a cartoon company in Fort Worth, TX (FUNimation Entertainment, if you're curious). I was basically their entire I.T. staff, handling everything from desktops to databases, servers to switches, faxes to firewalls. There was a crazy week where we had a pretty bad storage server meltdown and video production was halted during a critical push. This shit had to be fixed as soon as possible. Two hours into the repair, our email server took a nosedive and the company pretty well ground to a halt. I shut the doors to my office and worked on getting things repaired as quickly as I could. About an hour into my troubleshooting, I heard a knock on my door and before I could answer it, Michelle from accounting (a 350lb behemoth) stomps in and started bitching to me about her iTunes library. I have Microsoft premier support on speakerphone and we all get to hear her whine about iTunes for 30 seconds. I tell her that we have bigger issues right now and we'll fix it after the freaking company is operational. She storms off, the ground shaking under her weight. Two hours later, still working through the issues... with Symantec and Microsoft techs pointing fingers at each other, Michelle's coworker comes in my office and explains that she too is having issues with her iTunes. I'm obviously sitting there doing nothing because MS & Symantec are doing all the work, so why can't I just come down and fix it? It's an easy fix... Buuhreeeeeeeeeezzzzeeeeee!!! Breeeeeezzzzeeeeeee!!! Breeze!!! I spent all night working through those issues. And then I went home. I took the next day off. Michelle and Jody didn't have their precious iTunes library for 2 days and I didn't care. The following day I basically handled every other request, fixed every single problem I possibly could until the last second until heading downstairs to take a look at their iTunes problem. It turned out both Michell & Jody had unplugged their speakers and couldn't hear their music. So they were right - it was an easy fix. I probably could have fixed it during the crises. But they annoyed me so badly I didn't want anything to do with them and they were LAST on my priorities. Long story short... don't annoy the Devs.

I'm grateful to you, P99 Devs. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. I main as a Cleric, and if I were missing one of my earliest HP/AC buff spells, or even the majority of the line all together, I would still play a Cleric and still enjoy being here.
