Is it just me or is this not real competition? I read someone said they were over an hour late on their FTE?? Good luck with that on non-agreement raid mobs. Does anyone know if they even raced on the initial pop?? I'd say if not, they planned on snubbing this agreement out of spite from the get go

4-5 months ago we had a handful of members who raced -- mostly when we were teaming up with Rustle in ToV and on some other mobs. Most of those people burned out, and a lot of us felt it was counter to the casual raiding atmosphere we were encouraging at the time.

Why didn't Awakened just allow one of the and coming alliances a shot at AoW? Instead they dropped everything they were doing in PoG and rushed to Kael. Don't know about you guys but to me that is just plain greedy after boasting how many times they have killed statue/aow.

That's because your approaching the question from a relatively normal perspective.

Consider it this way, imagine your goal is not to equip your toon. Imagine your goal is to block others from getting pixels. That's why one of the themes of the threat is those berating FoH/Venerate with "haha Statue drops were crap".
