If the above quote is 100% true, that is pretty sad. I don't know Hijal at all. But the fact he was doing it for his guild, and they was benefitting a lot from it. Then Awakened gets punished and they turn against him. Really? When all along the leadership knew he was doing it. If they wanted him to stop I am sure he would have if the leadership asked him to. So if anything it's the leadership that should owe an apology to their members, not the player.

I'm more upset the scum lords of Awakened have been allowed to exploit the known bug, that ToV allows them to bind there.

Big Nilbog will be up in ToV one day soon resetting binds and flagging it, and all other indoor Velious dungeons, no bind so that future generations of pixel hunters must do the zone as intended; Slow and painful enough such that after 10 clears you never want to go back because you've moved on to Ssra, Seru, AC, the Deep, Acrylia Caverns and Vex Thal.

BTW everyone talking about Nalken cheating. Never happened.

The time he used the shadow step mask and the rile spam was someone else's idea. Nalken is just a legit great player at this game.


I used the Rile spam first on a Vulak run to test it out. I was way behind because I was getting buffs refreshed when he spawned and used it and almost won the race at the end...got stunned at Vulak 4-way with Bruize right behind me and Bruize got it. I mentioned it working and helping and Nalken tested it one time on a Statue run up and for some reason he got in trouble instead of me who mentioned it to him.

The Shadow Step mask was another Monk whose name slips my mind now. That guy used it first and Nalken after got in trouble for that too when he was just doing something someone else had already done. The fact that Nalken was simply a better runner and made those gains pay off better than others is what got him in trouble.

I suspect the case is the same with Hjial with alt+tab jumping. Probably someone else's idea in Awakened that he used to more success. because he is a pretty good player.

Hjial was consistently winning races long before he started alt tab jumping. He was not the person to start this alt tab meta, he's just better at it than his competition.

If alt tab jumping is deemed illegal, fine. But, good luck policing it. It is a great thing not to allow it in races but to come out and ban a guild for it out of the blue is sketchy work.

When you watch Hjial videos you can very easily see when he alt tabs because he's literally alt tabbing and the window shows up on the same screen. Other racers have posted videos of them doing the same jumps but on their videos you don't see a new window pop up because that person is clicking off onto another monitor.

Chest, it says moving faster that SoW. That's black and white. Was alt tabbing causing his movement speed to become faster than SoW? Bam, rules broken. It doesn't need to specify hacks, let's, buffs, alt tab, anything. If your character is moving faster than SoW speed, you are breaking the rules. Very, very simple.
