as much as people hate playing wow, it's worth playing there for how raging mad people get when you YT them.

Those dudes on K2 and Nost would log on opposing faction toons to rage at you for killing them. Was great fun.

I think wow pvp is fun, but the grind is boring.

Had good times rofling around with murda and yuuvy on k2 doing the quest grinds for world pvp. Stonetalon pvp is best pvp.

I honestly much prefer the challenge in pve coming from managing hard to kill mobs as a team vs running around questing to exp. Hence I always liked EQ lvl grinding vs the theme park mmo's. Don't have the spirit to grind up all those stale ass WoW quests.

Wish they would do another EQ type game that wasn't just faceroll grinding like the Asian MMO's.

nah Camelot will be unfinished and under-developed, just like every game created since 2007.

the workers don't work anymore. They do what they are paid, the hustle is "settled in".

EQ was made with a skeleton crew before it was sold to SOE. The budget was 6.1 million.

You see the zone design, itemization, and effort that went into EQ I hope? They hustled in the trenches. What other game has had that aside from WoW and Blizzard? Has TESO figured out how to spend money wisely yet? Or still blowing 300-400 million on people either can't or don't know how to work.

The mediocrity is deeper than just 1 guy making design decisions. It has to do with no hustle in the trenches. The coders got better and better, but the design continues to be apathetic. Look how disgusting Live EQ got with the uninspired shitty generic dungeons. No effort.

Curt Schilling's company is a prime example of this if you read the expose` articles on the employee culture and the socialist atmosphere at 38 Studios. It was all about pay for nothing. "Make me the Vice President of Donuts". All cheeky laughs, no actual talent or work being done.

Rolled alliance in the past for the pvp que times, was worth it then for sure. But with population this high I think it wont matter as much
