Anyone that can quickly look up the definition of free for all? Nm, I'll do it for you...

free-for-all
noun
a disorganized or unrestricted situation or event in which everyone may take part, especially a fight, discussion, or trading market

What was the Ring War agreement again?

The agreement is basically:
When Badain spawns on your turn, you have up to 24-hours to start your war. After that it is up for anyone to turn in. If you miss your turn that still counts as your turn in the rotation.
Guilds will provide the rough spawn time to the next guild in the rotation, so that they have a rough idea of when he will spawn so they can plan accordingly.

What time did Sentry Badain spawn, one might ask? Well it was at 250am EST Saturday Morning.

Let's do some math real quick...

250am est on 10/8 + 24 hours = 250am EST on 10/9. Ring War was started at 330pm EST on 10/9.

Spin harder.

Both Badain and VP were up for 24 hours, how were any rotations broken?

Again, VP was not up anywhere near 24 hours AND on top of that there is no 24 hour agreement on VP, it was only the ring war.

Spin Cycle in full swing now.

Neither were up for 24 hours.

Awakened leadership continuing to show their merits to the rest of the server. Honestly, I'm downright impressed. Y'all might be more widely hated than Kunark era TMO. Thats fucking impressive.
Hate us cause they ain't us.

Act like you've been there before.

Oh wait, you haven't.

Please, continue your old Taken ways of "I do what I want, fuck everybody" mentality, I'm sure it's going to work out for you.
Stop acting like your better than anyone. This "server good guys" bullshit will only last so long. I heard Rustle almost had more people at your ring war than yall did. Keep it up, yall might just end up being the same guild soon enough.

Badain was up for over 24 hours. AM attempted to get the people together DURING their 24 hours. They were unable to do so for whatever reason. Thusly, it became a FFA war after the 24 hours passed. Then Rustle and AM cooperated to complete it. No rules were broken in this instance.

This defeats the spirit of the agreement.

The purpose behind not teaming up during a war is for guilds who cannot muster a force to kill their war within 24 hours to either get a guild they want to share a slot with or bow out of the rotation.

Maybe that legal technicality of waiting until it's a few minutes past 24 hours, making it FFA absolves you from the need to adhere to the teams agreed upon in the rotation works in the LawyerQuest courts of Sirken and Judge Judy, but when you're dealing with player formed agreements they are built upon a certain amount of trust one and other will honor the spirit of the agreement.

In this case, they did not honor that agreement by having two different entities who occupy different rotation slots team up for one of their wars. This was explicitly forbidden from my understanding otherwise Europa, Omni and Azure Guard could each individually claim a slot, and team up. Or in the case as you describe, each claim a slot, wait 24 hours and then turn in 1 minute past the hour, teaming up and "breaking no rules".

"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should" comes to mind.

Should Awakened have seen this and then killed the miracle pop in VP, eh probably not. Should Aftermath have done the war on their own or agreed to share a slot with Rustle, yes they should've.

But I'm just a guy, on the outside looking in. Like everyone else in this thread, I probably don't have a clue what I'm talking about.

I'll leave you with my solution to this:
