All currency is fake. That's the point, it's an abstract representation of value. Value is partially, if not mostly, subjective, and if he values what he gets for 'fake currency' then it's just as legit as paying 100$ for a round of golf. Although I think the writer was actually being sarcastic.
Currency is the equivalence of time. Time is not fake. Time is real.
Ever heard the saying time is money? It is true. The more money, the better hospital surgeries you can afford, the longer you live.

Everyone spends their money differently. I look at someone buying a 30k+ dollar car and call it a waste. Others look at me who spends money on weed and video games and calls it a waste. To each their own.

Yes! I have a hard time choosing what to spend my money on and generally end up too exhausted to by more things once I decide on one. Then someone comes along and is all like are you suuuure? FACK! Take me like a week to recover from that and formulate another (usually same -.-) decision. kinda tangent I guess, but my point is, if you spending money on something you enjoy, don't matter if it virtual or analog. Reminds me of people who insist online interactions/relationships aren't real. Guess what? We all be living in the machine eventually v(~ 。^)
