That changed with Nixon's southern strategy after the passing of the civil rights act. The racist block within the dnc went republican or only kept the democratic label to keep being elected while voting with republican platforms that were in alignment with their views. Then Nixon seeing a massive opportunity for funding and votes, appealed to those voters and shifted the perception and platform of the rnc.

I find the 'Repugs are racist' line to be a gross generalization and an ad hominem most of the time but it seems like the "No, you're the real racists!" line that's being used more and more (including about black people) to be just as bogus.

Not like they did with Trump, 15 times, and only after he got annoyed with the constant badgering of the question and he blew off the reporter they twisted his answer. Hillary hasn't even had an actual press conference in about a year, apart from her letting a few of her lap dogs run a few scripted questions at her in private for the video. Whenever Trump does, they read between the lines i.e. make shit up. Also the other link is relevant in that post. By their own standard, Clinton should drop out, it's not too late to run like Bernie or someone, we haven't even gotten to the first debate! But Bernie was just likely hired to play his role as he did.

The Klan was started by the southern dems to string up blacks and conservatives. Just like the dems created BLM, a racist hate group, it's the George Soros' army, of which they funded and house the leader in one of Soros' employees houses. How do you start a civil war to get the desired effect? Control both sides of course. That's the false narrative you get.
