It is a little weird that Swish was apparently banned for using a gay slur and yet there's been a full-blown white supremacist movement festering in the Off-Topic forum for months. I think perhaps even more disturbing than unchecked hate speech is the selective censorship of only certain forms of hate speech.

These forums are rampant with transphobia, racism, white supremacist....MRA's..... but a gay slur is what gets a ban? Lol wut?

Indeed, so much other hurtful language. We need to better protect our community members from abuses like that. We can start by defaulting all accounts to ignore all other accounts then use our profile descriptors (location, interests, etc.) to advertise our narrow preferences and selectively unignore those with whom we share a common mind. We'll never have to deal with nastiness on the internet again.

I remember when I started playing Project 1999 seriously. I saw swish running across oasis of marr and I was blown away that I saw him in game!

He set up a Make a Swish charity thread, wanting monies. I was on color switch and some Wish.me app showed up and I instantly thought of him and how he hacked my phone so I wanted to post it and thats when I found out he was banned ( not cool btw ) He is an outright tool and tosser but he is our TT. So GIVE HIM BACK PLEASE. It gives me something to read while I am at work and there isnt shit to do.

I have first hand experience of receiving a warning about something that I have seen in many other posts on the forums.
I didn't think I was doing any harm until I got singled out suddenly. And that was for 1 second of a gif, which was posted again afterwards without being removed.

Unfortunately, we block most google features like that at work. So I can't use this feature until later ha.
