Easy resolution:
a) If you think Roscoe is a badass hero.. add him to your friends him and ask him specifically for ports when he is online and throw him a little extra on top for your ports when you can. b) If you think Roscoe is a classist, racist scumbag.. Put him on ignore and shun him. I chose a. | ||

I had a conversation with Rozcoe about it, I agree, bards, by class seem to be the cheapest. I've debating a bard embargo myself, but there are rare generous individuals that stay my hand. Instead, just /ignoring cheap players.

Just playing devil advocate here because I think Rozcoe had every right to deny service. That being said wouldn't it be just as easy to ask for payment upfront? I try to sneak it in before port anyway incase the porter LDs in transit.

but i guess thats what happens when an institution has a monopoly and no competition. its a fact that many players leave their guilds in order to compete with the porting scene, or at least to get a slice of the cake. i dont have a problem with people making their own decisions, but dismantling guilds for the sake of profit is not server-friendly(imo).

is it so ridiculous to suggest, considering the huge numbers of members in dialaport, that some would create dummy forum accounts to discredit obvious complaints made against their empire?
