I remember using mine for faster weapon skill-ups, and extra dps if full mana.

If you wanna swing a rod of annihilation, willsapper, or staff of the silent star in between nukes or pets :P

That Japanese page is awesome. Would you say they have a pretty accurate list of drops or have they left out a lot? I'm looking at chardok in particular and the list doesn't seem very long, but then I have bad memory.
