Technically he didn't say it was a reboot. He said it was a shut-down. Means they're trying to find the error, then they'll either do rollbacks or individual corpse returns. Mind you I'm guessing.

Individual (and mass) corpses can be restored without taking down the server, I have been affected by this bug multiple times in the last week.

They have known about this issue for at least as long as that.

Logic dictates that the fix is being implemented.

I really hope it's not a complete rollback...Just hit 35 last night, 20% into hell level, got some quest items for epic, made a decent bit of cash...would suck to lose all that progress. Hopefully only 12 people died all morning or something so they can just re-boot servers without a roll-back, and return full inventoried corpses to players. /cry
