The child didn't fall in the enclosure, it climb a 4ft rockwall and then over a barrier fence. The amount of time it would of took to do that an a parent not notice doesn't make it an accident.

As far as shooting the gorilla that sucked but the tranquilizer darts take to long to kick in and even though the gorilla looked to be protecting the child, he is a big animal and sometimes doesn't know how fragile a child is.

If your kid fell and you jumped in you would both be dead, don't be a hero let the professional do their job.

He wasn't being violent, the childs life wasn't in danger. He was getting a few scrapes, no big deal.

They should have used Soviet grade tranq darts, they are fast acting and do not "take a long time to kick in" Many opioids are extremely potent Sudafentanil can knock a elephant out immediately at the right dose, then you give them anti-opioid medication to save them.

Sounds pretty simple buddy. The technology exists to tranq the gorilla, they just didn't have it on hand.

Show me where it says the animal would go under in a minute and the effects of the animal before he has gone under. Let's say Hypothetically the animal goes down in 60 seconds... During the first 30 seconds, he gets agitated and decides to grab the child, and in the process tears off one of his arms... Just seems like there is a element of risk involved. Where as death is certain.
