I speak from personal experience bieng the only one in my family who served in the contemporary military with people of color (and don't make me talk about woman, who are JUST beggining to attain the same ranks and privilages males soldiers always had) actually having equality around me. My family is/was full of a bunch of racist angry sexist idiots. Even the women in my family were beaten into hating woman.

When I served with my friends of many races, colors, ethnicities and realized how truly different the world was outside my tiny little sphere, my racist upbringing finally began to crack and crumble.

It's still pretty bad out there. Be greatful you got it easy bros. I'm with the NWO and the new military industrial complex, because at least a woman can become a captain in a distinguished unit that isn't a medic/nurse.

The only thing protecting you as evidenced through out history is a thin layer of civility enforced through the law.
