GoW / OoW unquestionably marked the death of good EQ

PoP was definitely *not classic* but the increased level of power in gear, spells, and monsters was at least still fun. The overall theme and feel of those other 2 expansions was gaaaaarbage.

OoW 2nd best EQ expansion behind PoP. Citadel of Anguish #1 favorite raid zone in EQ history. Riftseekers one of my favorite exp zones ever. Proving Grounds also really fun.

i was in a top 5 guild during this time

the hacking was incredible, at least 20% of guild used a warp hack to get to CoA entrance..

You playing p99 for a long time and getting bored of it is not the same thing as p99 dying. Old players will leave, new players will come. If p99 changes into something else to alleviate the boredom of people who have been playing it for too long then the terrorists win.

Why are you guys playing here if you no longer like the server? No one is forcing you to do so, and there are other servers for us who prefer to have more content than classic - Velious.
