In era evidence presented in this thread indicates that this mechanic is not working as intended and the White Dragon Helm should give the wearer more MR than it currently does.
This has been confirmed by Nilbog. Here's a healthy bump for a work in progress. Any updates?

The bad part is is that it was completely fine on velious launch, just displayed incorrectly... (+30MR instead of +10MR with effect Resist Magic), until Xexbis pointed it out and Daldaen needed it displayed classically....

Nilbog or Telin, a question and possible fix...
If it is the spell formula causing an issue, is it possible to create an alternate spell named "Endure Magic " (note the space at the end), and make this a level 1 spell set to give +20MR in the spell database? It would visually be near unnoticeable and perhaps be an easy fix as opposed to lots of programming work arounds? While regular Endure Magic appears to be a static +20 MR, it would seem the level requirement of the spell is causing the issue? (Since the worn effect seems to treat you add if you are level 1?) Perhaps I'm mistaken, just trying to think outside the box.
