From my experience its the interrupts that kill you. While yes the extra regen is nice not getting interrupted before that spell is huge.

Interrupts have never killed me on my shaman, or made that much of a difference really.

The regen, on the other hand, has paid out immeasurably.

No other race comes close to matching the raw sexual charisma of trolls.

The choice is obvious

I'm a 60 Shaman.

My only advice is if you are trying to pick the most powerful race, don't pick Barb.

Frontal Stun immunity > Regen @ 60 with torpor for soloing hard camps. The first 59 levels you are at a disadvantage, and the stun immunity doesn't change who can solo what (as you can see the best shamans in the Solo Artist Challenge aren't even Ogres).

Regen > Frontal Stun Immunity in groups since you can convert hp to mana.

Iksar can't wear JBB. Not a huge deal, nowhere near as OP as epic clicky.

Trolls worshipping Inny get access to a snare clicky neck.

It's pretty good especially since Shamans never get snare.

At the end of the day I picked Troll and haven't regretted it.

Shaman is a class tougher at low levels than higher levels...lots of people advocate snare clicky but the undead fear/animal fear clickies are also great. With warrens implemented these quests are way easier now, iksar or troll(cazic) can do them with a little faction work (the actual quests are really really easy, its just faction is tough.)

Troll or iksar.

Frontal stun immunity sounds cool and all but you still get interrupted.

Troll because racial trait is ALWAYS in effect (regen), plus can wear the JBB. I have played and owned a 60 troll, ogre and barb shaman here on P99.

Frontal stun immunity is not needed to play well. All traits are not needed to play well, so might as will pick the one that is ALWAYS in effect - the regen.

Oh lord. Guess it's that time of year again. Bash still interrupts casts regardless of immunity, right?
