Anything better than a P4 should run EQ.

ToiletQuest?

nothing like playing EQ while sitting on the shitter.

It should be able to run it, the processor may be lacking a bit though.

was hoping to use it at a yha (small hotel) that i could plug it into a lcd tv, but this thing doesnt seem to have a vga out port or better. which is rather odd.....

the small screeen is gonna get annoying tbh. its perfrct size to carry about though in a small back pack.

I found a list of processors that could handle EQ2 here, and that one isn't on it, but thats also EQ2. http://www.game-debate.com/games/ind...=Everquest%202

In my search I had at one point also considered a small EQing computer and was bummed when the netbook market died down hehe. Although chromebooks seem to be near the same price range, not sure if they're able to run EQ but I think I've seen others asking around here about em:

I got this http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...887&rmvSB=true for 200$ over Christmas. Runs EQ just fine along with even newer games that arent very memory intensive. The machine is built like a tank too. Picture isnt that great compared to newer screens but it serves its purpose. It doesnt have VGA but has a HDMI slot.

Intel Atom is x86. So that means yes, it can run EQ.
