The future of P99, what would you like to play ?

when I look at this poll all I see is

funny I just looked at all my old post, and even in 2009 there was a thread just like this lol...with pretty much the same ideas floating..

But I'll say again what I said then.

Would be awesome to hold a contest for people to write a new xpac or to release new zones. Lore would have to be incorporated and we could use zones from all the titanium expansions. The thing I noticed most from velious to luclin is how the lore seemed to fade out of importance. Making the PoP gods accessible and scaled to velious geared numbers could be neat.

The line of thinking basically is, let's just revamp one zone at a time or a cluster of zones and have it's story immersed in the EQ lore. Grow EQ how we wished it would have before a lot of the creative force behind the game left. Also it would be great to have some content that no one knew how to immediately dominate. I skipped the launch of Kunark and Velious on purpose, I did not want to be apart of the insane pixel grab that really brought out the worst in some people.

I think a good first start would be bring back Mayong Mistmoor and add a real loot table =)

I'd like to see 2 new servers with SoL and PoP without the Wizzy Translocators and PoK Books scattered across Norrath. Give exclusive porting access to Wizards and Druids. Make it where if folks wanted to play on the server, they could just clone their current red or blue character to the new server like it was done with the Velious Beta.

If not possible...well #Teams2017

I would really like to see luclin and PoP come out, if just even just luclin came out I would be eternally greatful. why not keep p99 blue and just make another server that goes up to luclin? that way if people chose they wanted luclin they could do that, and for people who don't want luclin they can stay on blue, that way no one gets upset.

Not that I expect it to happen, but I'd even reroll on that server if the population would be healthy enough to support it w/o boxing and global /ooc

if it ever did come out, im pretty confident it would have enough population. there are plenty of people who want luclin, its a wonder why they haven't already done it.

The only thing keeping everyone from experiencing it is brand loyalty, and the fact that the other 2 have boxing enabled, right?
