Not seeing the logic in complaining about what losers we must be to be doing this, in an attempt to argue that everybody should be able to do it. We know dude. We're nuts.

Rules and mechanics can change/nerf all they want in ntov, but the same crazy people willing to go to extra lengths to do things a little better than everybody else will continue to get mobs. Currently they are guilds making up over 200 of the players wanting to raid ntov. At what point are we at equilibrium level that the correct amount of people are killing ntov? It can't be everybody.

Why don't I see any guilds other than Awakened or FA at Yelinak? It's basically a Trak engage. There are no shenanigans like training mobs around to quick pull. We coth to perma rooted dragon and do a running head/class count to race to engage it. We also fight Zlandi in his lair. Props to CSG for downing a couple of recent Klandi's.

People like to fall back on the fact that the pull/fte methods in ntov close the content off because they don't want to get involved, but let's be honest with each other here. You don't want to compete with the crew of neckbeards willing to put in extra work to secure FTE's and kills, and nobody blames you.

A rotation is the only solution that will open ntov up to everybody, but it's just not likely to happen.

Instancing is dumb, but so is becoming a flavor of the month mercenary.

Freezi
Ways to get NtoV and other top tier loots.

#1 join a guild that is already killing that stuff.
#2 convince your guild to go for it or form an alliance of guilds to make an attempt to get it.

This also applies to other raid targets outside velious.

People don't take to kindly to demands of loot being just simply given to others that complain real loud that they want some.

Where have I heard that before? Oh yea I think TMO said that before the class system was implemented.
Apples and oranges.

TMO at the time had a complete domination of the server. In the current its about 50/50 on top tier velious targets between Awakened/FA with a bit of VP thrown in here and there. All of kunark and lesser velious targets everyone else gets. BDA I recall is aggressive about VP. Other guilds could step up and start there, after all those trak teeth are a lot easier to get now. I've also witnessed an emergent Dvinity-Anonymous alliance, that would hold potential for being a disruptive raid force in the upper end of the raid scene.

Point being that it isn't just one guild getting everything, no need to rotate, everyone is getting ~some~ targets. Be happy with your self imposed limitations.

There is no difference between 1 guid or 2 guilds dominating all the content; it still blocks content for everyon else. Which is fine in the short term. But after a few years (assuming p99 is as strong) this will change if Rogean/Nilbog follow the precedent set with regards the class system put in place previously. So make the most of it while you can... which i guess you're doing.

What I'd like to see is everyone and anyone getting themselves into ToV to force your (foreskin/awakened) hand. Imagine 500 people in ToV disrupting the zone so much you get jack shit, that would be beautiful.

SO

Rise up ye server casuals and scumlords and take back what is rightfully ours!
