Is it regular exp rates? I'd love to play, but gonna be on limited time. Heard this box resets, if so how often?

6 months, exp rates are very quick and max level is 50. There are also limits on levels for the first few weeks to keep casuals on pace with hardcore players.

About exp rate, even if numbers aren't corrects this is how it work

Word wide x2 exp mod.
2 rotatives hot zones with x 4 exp mod to gather the players and encourage pvp.

Training is something we've tried to get rid of over there. It's a tactic we tried to use to overcome a zerg on rolfron teams, but it ran a lot of new blood off the server. So it is technically illegal there now and enforced.

That being said, if the community is shitty to each other and begins petition questing image/dev will just get pissed off and stop helping everyone. So it's kind of in your best interest to just not be a shitter to keep the devs around.
