Loss of Keyboard Functionality

Pretty simple...I'll tab out to check something, tab back in and my keyboard acts as if it is just not there (mouse control still works). Windows key still works to tab out, and I am able to type normally in any other program that's open. Anyone know what would be causing this?

I usually have EQ, Windows Media Player (which also crashes whenever my keyboard cuts out in game) and FireFox with facebook, gmail, and the P99 website open.
