Have to disagree here

I would probably do the same thing, what else are you supposed to do? Wife is going to be sleeping a lot and laid up in bed, little babies are stupid and sleep all the time...actually sounds like an ideal time for EQ

3 days in the hospital? Did she need a caesarean? If so, ouch. Taking care of a newborn while recovering from surgery is the worst. I hope you're the helpful and supportive type. If it wasn't a c-section, sorry about your wife's vagina. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

In any case, congrats! There's nothing more amazing than holding a newborn baby. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

yes was a c- section I have him as much as they let us.. they have some crazy baby and parent schedule... so it's not like we can keep him in our room 24 7..

thanks again Sidelle for always being positive in such a toxic place that has so many parasites crawling.

child is not perfect then

Autism also shows in early toddler years, 2-3

You have some time to split before emotions take hold

That's wonky, we had our boy with us the entire time we stayed at the hospital. we went the with midwives and natural (though drugged) birth. Doctor's these days love pushing for a c-section cause $$$. All testing and shots were done in room with us so he never left our sight.

Congrats though, enjoy bonding leave if your work gave you any. Its rough as hell going back.
