I have a story about a different piece of Lite's bard epic.

 

Epics had just come out on Red. I had started playing my 17 Bard Skippy again a week earlier and had leveled him to 51. I also had just disavowed Nizzar and Nihilum for the first real time. I had been talking to Twainz daily and he'd been giving me updates on people's efforts to get a Chromadrac Gut off Eldrig in Skyfire - I guess even after three days they hadn't procured even one. So on the fourth day after epics were released, I went and attempted to pop Eldrig. It took a long while kiting on a Bard and having to go check for Eldrig, but eventually I found him up. I attempted to kill him (a level 51 Chromadrac) but was unable to due to resists on fear and snare. At this point I didn't really know anyone on the server well - Nirgon was the only person who had played with me and helped me since my return; I decided to hit up a random Azrael member for possible assistance. This person was Ledbedder. I realized immediately that I ran a very real risk of simply losing the item, but I really had nothing to lose. Ledbedder was receptive to helping but was first attempting to kill Hangnail and told me to hang on. Long aside short: after 50 minutes Ledbedder the Druid had failed to even single pull Hangnail, and I spent that entire time kiting Eldrig in a small area. At this point I implored him to refer me to someone else, and Ledbedder referred me to Lite. I messaged Lite, told him my story, and basically said I wanted to become a part of the resistance. I explained the situation with Eldrig and how I just wanted to link that Chromadrac Gut in OOC repeatedly until Nihilum got some Bard Epics. At this point Lite went unresponsive and immediately brought his group to Skyfire and killed Eldrig and looted the gut - without a single word. I know it's red and this shit is cutthroat, but come the fuck on. At least tell me you're fucking me and you'll make it up to me some day =) Thanks for reading Lite and his Chromadrac Gut.
