LNS: It's time for a more sensible system

friends(certain people) is well known for finding someone at their bind, killing them naked, then re engaging them before they even load into world to call LNS fast enough. all the while spewing "sorry already engaged u shouldve called LNS before i attacked you!" It always seems to be the same bunch too, because they want YT be it fair fight or a naked kill. they froth to see that YT added to leaderboards to prove and thump their chests how good they are.

I heard some 9 suspensions went out in the last 4-5 days over similar incidents because of asshats chain killing naked people, and trying to rule lawyer bullshit junk like "you have to scoot!" when they are their bind already and all they can do is call LNS and wait for a rez. Friends loves to kill anyone and everyone, let them deal with the consequences now that GMs are back enforcing your violations.

abolish, the lack of staff makes it impossible to have a ruleset like this

1: stop killing naked players. don't even argue it. if you kill naked players, you run of risk of "not seeing LNS called" or whatever bullshit excuse.

I'll be honest, it is always players from the guilds that despise each other or the usual toxic players that always seem to accidentally violate LNS. begging for a rule to be removed so cheaters don't keep getting banned makes no sense.


2: ask for leaderboards to be removed. easily the source of half the garbage the server deals with. I know it is the last remaining victory condition for some people, but it doesn't promote pvp and actually discourages it.


3: get guild leaders together and agree a player run system. the GMs have said they will use it if players do it.

/anonymous off
/lfg on

you are now on Loot and Scoot.

zero chance of missing someone who is naked with LFG after their name and not anonymous.

problem solved.

get guild leaders to agree, tag GM's with a post.



then GM's can take all the time in the world to code something specific for red.

If guild leaders agree to /anon off, /lfg on, then there really isn't any need for Devs to code anything.

Nor does wiping the server solve anything since the things people think are problems will still exist.

One of my proudest achievements is getting the staff to implement LNS and a 4 level pvp range. Keep it as is.
