A little idea I've thought about - I think it would be interesting if experienced raiders from Empire sponsored pug raids against old Vanilla/Kunark content perhaps twice a week, taking all comers (of adequate level, and with an eye towards class-mix) that aren't going to berg-out in TS or whatever, or perhaps arranging it with specific guilds.

I feel like this would be a good way for Empire to leverage their position of primacy to actively promote server health, to get some Empire alts involved in fun raids that they don't do anymore on their mains, and to provide a path for other people on the server to kind of "learn the ropes" in a raiding context and get used to the core strategies (rage, CH rotations, etc) in a friendly environment. I've had the pleasure of attending one raid with Empire (before getting kicked for lack of attendance, I'm pretty strictly casual,) and it was very well-run in terms of comms discipline and generally good attitude in the face of adversity. I think even a little experience in such an environment would go a long way in giving others a hand in learning how to catch a fish, so to speak.
