I didn't buy Velious when it came out.

An entire expansion of Everfrost/Permafrost stretched over an entire continent but with tall/short barbarian variants sounded monotonous as hell to me.

I think I skipped velious until way after PoP.

Keep in mind that back on live it was new and no one know what the ZEM or how hard the mobs were. So at that time it was exciting here people are more looking at the next thing and there isn't the infusion of new players regularly that there was on live. At the end of the day this isn't a game that ages well. Here on this server the goal is to level up and raid endgame content with whatever guild you join. So you aren't going to have noobs running around with stars in their eyes to see the wonder of the new expansion. They are going to the zones with a purpose.

Kunark was the classic high point for me too. Even on live I just didn't have time to do all of the Velious content.... in a way that's a good thing here as we've certainly got time.
