Not gonna lie, I loved some of the new features.. and the game is gorgeous. But.. at the same time.. the combat system is different. I don't know what it's called, the 'real action' battle system that I tried on one of the new FF's.. I absolutely hated it. If this is what they're using opposed to turn based I will probably hate it and won't buy it.

I think it's the same (or similar) as 15's battle system. Which is... ok I guess. It works. As much as I would love an old school system of 2 lines of characters staring at each other in slow paced turn by turn combat, that old tech won't fly in a modern AAA game.

Didn't read the whole thread but in essence the fans expect more ff7 and Square hasn't got the ability or creativity on their staff to do it.
Bad storylines and characters are now guaranteed, and the gameplay / battle systems are looking tired. FF died at 10 for me, after a terrible 9 and a shaky 8.

6/3 was my intro to RGP gaming, 7 stole my soul, 8 held on to it....this remake looks incredible, I hope I plays incredibly as well.
