Maybe you should take one for a test drive. the ride is crazy smooth and everything is well engineered. Check it out before ya hate away

haven't driven the c7's, but i was looking into c6 wagons a couple years ago. agree on all of that. a little big and way too heavy for my tastes (like all modern cars, tbh) but the only thing stopping me from buying one was this

Can't deny that. I got a BMW 3 series too - simply changing the headlight requires way too much work and disassemble. Seems like this is the norm now for Germany.

How long is a headlight supposed to last?

Put 90k on mine so far with no problems, aside from the running lights starting to flicker.

Seems like they are good for several years unless you get bad luck?

around 50k kilometers, bulbs may last anywhere from 2K to 4K hrs use.

Ah my luck must be due to all highway driving and very fast rates of speed decreasing my actual running time, will probably have a headlight failure in the next couple weeks. Its overdue.
