Sunni kill shia and back because of their religion. They each use their own interpretation of who the proper leader of who should bring forth Mohammed's message. They kill each other over this difference. Let that sink in.

This is just so fucking sad. I got stuck last night cause they closed the subway. Apparently 3 suicide bombers @ stade de france failed, they blew up too early, i cant even imagine had they set off when the 80k folks were done watching the football game and came out.

this is just the saddest day since ww2 for us. It will give more rooms for extremism. It gives me nausea.

Polls have been done (links were given earlier in the thread) showing support for actions like this at 20-50% across the Muslim world. This is not some tiny fringe of psychos, but rather a problem with the entire philosophy of Mohammed. That sort of happens when your religion is based on the life of a psychopath and child molester.

I think people have a higher tendency to lean extremist the worse their countries economic/political situation. There are parts of both the Quran and the bible that have pretty radical language, but the poor state of things in the middle east means people are more willing to agree with those radical things.

Look at Paris for instance, 160 dead and people calling for the extermination of all Muslims. But the US and allies have been meddling in the middle east for 70 years. Essentially we've kicked the hornets nest for 7 decades, then Europe said "hey let's let the hornets in... they need a home. "

Exactly. Logical solution in two parts: stop kicking hornets nest; let hornets stay at home. Bake for 10 years at low temperature.
