![]() Leasing items won at raids with the expectation of turning them back in if another upgrade has been earned later in the future. Call me greedy, but yuck.

However, I joined the original A-Team when the guild allowed everyone to roll on all items...including epic MQs. The guild was small enough that everyone eventually got items due to luck, and we could use the item to sell and fund whatever we wanted. Sort of like a small batch of mercenaries. It was fun to show up to every raid because you never knew if you would get an item to fund your own character. When A-Team went through a change due to the class system, you could bid DKP on items to buy them. This situation wouldn't make much sense for giving an item back to the guild...unless we gave DKP back, which wasn't a thing in our guild. I guess I could see loot council forcing you to not really "own" your own items. However, I've never been in a guild that loot counciled droppable items and expected them back really. The only item I ever got in Rampage was the VP lute since I don't raid. If I actually led my own guild, I'd probably do an open bid auction style DKP loot system, where guild members bid in chat like an auction after items dropped. If you won the item, you'd lose your DKP. However, you'd decide how much you really wanted to burn against other members. But hey, I don't run a guild or really play EQ, so it's all null anyway.

![]() It's not leasing. Leasing implies there is payment for using it. It's borrowing or an item lent out.

![]() Your brother has a riding lawn mower. You have a push mower and 3 acres of land to mow. You borrow your brothers riding mower for 3 days and then return it. Before your lawn has to be mowed again you obtain a riding mower of your own.
Sorta like that concept.

![]() You lost your right arm, just above the elbow in the war. Your friend did as well. Your friend has a really nice mechanical arm and you have a hook.
You 'borrow' your friends arm until the VA spits out the money to give you a nice mechanical. Then you return your "friend's 2nd gen arm back"

![]() If I win a CoF one day, and then I win Tear of Quellis the next, I would expect I could sell the CoF, pass to a friend, or if I wanted I could move to an alt....the last thing I would expect is Pint to petition a GM that I am stealing Asgard loot
