As someone who was actually at this raid i can say i thought the hitboxes were a bit wonky. I had a few swings where i thought i should have been out of range as i was coming around corner but I didn't think much of it at the time, I was focused on dodges and dispels. Even if everyone could "punch through walls" I don't believe it would be a viable strat anyway....


I commit to investigating this when we raid next week. I will attempt to replicate the issue and submit a bug report on any significant findings.

Actually, fucktard, you can hit any mob in the game while avoiding an aoe that is target based. The reason we dont do this is because you would create a substantial push. The reason this works in st is because of the geometry of the cubby, you can have people on both sides of dragon without getting hit by the aoe effectively pinning it without a wall.

If your trying to say this isnt classic, either target based aoes are not functioning classicly, or the dimensions of the st gate are not classic. Both of which is not true.

Now go tell me how much dkp i missed on last nights raid.

I cant watch videos at work. Is what your talking about kind of like if your fighting queen in Chardok and you run out from melee around corner right after you hit flying kick or another special attack and it still goes through the animation? I am using queen as an example because that is the most recent fight that I remember seeing that and laughing because I was around the corner when I stopped the animation.
