Technically, BDA showed their inability to hold the camp and should have relinquished it back to the now "kill force" strength of the duo they took it from...

Technically you're incredibly dumb. This is equivalent to training a camp to wipe them then claiming they can't handle the camp so they should give it up. Only reason BDA "wiped" is cause Nixxar took a permarooted mob into summoning range then FD'd so the healers got chain summoned til they died. Basically the same thing as training and he probably deserved a suspension if only for this reason. Let alone mouthing off to the staff like a child when things didn't go his way.
In other news this thread is excellent. Some of my favorite parts include Nixxar saying "Fraps'd Homey" on video after Chest got his shaman killed AFTER Nixxar did the exact same thing and got 2 people (myself included) killed. I don't know why everyone is so rustled over this. The rules are VERY clear if mobs are up and you don't have a presence to kill them you forfeit the camp. It's very black and white. You can disagree with the rules if you want but that's what they are.

If a raid mob is triggered to spawn by killing a single mob before it (Example: Statue -> Idol -> Avatar of War), the guild/party that spawned the mob has 20 minutes to engage it. The mob is open to any other guild/party on a first to engage basis once the first guild/party either no longer has a presence, or the first guild/party has wiped, or the mob has reset after an engage, or has not been engaged within the 20 minute time limit. To clarify, one engage is defined as the mob getting aggro on one or more players from the raid, and then ending after that losing aggro/resetting when those players have been killed or forced to abandon the fight. Once a triggered spawn no longer has aggro on anyone, it can be killed by anyone.

Granted this specifies raid mobs but it's the only ruling regarding triggered spawns that we have I think. Regular camp rules clearly state that if you don't have a presence to kill the mobs you can't hold the camp so either way Nixxar had no grounds to claim the camp. If memory serves the puppets had started spawning before the enchanter even logged out. We had a full force ready to go the second the puppets showed up. First puppet was at like 30% (they have a decent chunk of HP) before the shaman showed up and slowed the mob so Nixxar could begin wiping us.
