No one has been reprimanded, or lost their job, or even received a demotion for the security failure. You want to roll eyes and say so what, and say oh well par for the course. What these hearings are about, is highlighting a greater issue--that being government accountability. And I do not consider it a partisan investigation because of this greater symbolic value, in light of the fact that no one has received anything aside from questions, even when everyone is in agreement that there was a security failure. They can hold 20 more hearings until that sinks in. As for the personal attack, I was freshly fueled up with a full tank off of some blog commenters. It was unnecessary, unfair and excessive. This is not rants and flames and I take it back.

![]() truth be told this Benghazi shit is circus, and the email thing really isn't all that damning if your head isn't completely up your ass.
Everybody seems to be wrapped up in the dodging FOIA requests angle with respect to Clinton's email servers, as if the really damning stuff wouldn't be scrubbed or redacted like torture evidence, but then these are the blinders that come with the television narrative and pretending everything is hunky-dory politics as usual in 2015 USA, instead of the twisted game of Soviet style domestic espionage our overpowered intelligence apparatus has turned American public life into. The fact that Hillary felt compelled to host and pay for a private email server, exposing herself to the risk that this would happen, rather than utilize a state-administered one that can be remote controlled at will by alphabet soup like Congress's computers is the real actual horrifying part about the scandal.

![]() I think the really horrifying part about this scandal is the people who voted for a 300 million dollar cut to embassy security are the same people that tried to blame Hillary Clinton for the tragedy.

![]() I don't have a problem with Azzar. And I have no love for HC. I'd write in "AzzarTheGod" for President before I'd vote for Hillary.
Doesn't change the fact that these tedious Benghazi hearings serve no purpose other than one party trying to damage the other party's Presidential campaign.

Benghazi is and always will be an exploited tragedy that a party who defended security programs for the embassy would later turn it into a media frenzy in order to discredit a political rival. The only people who should be under investigation should be the people who are trying to use it as a tactic to win, or prevent someone from winning, votes.

![]() Big Japan, I agree. I gave a shot at writing a similar post saying that this has all been worth it, if ONLY to find out about the weakness of the private email server.
It's already been proven that the security was an absolute joke. And I think going forward, this will serve as an example for taking cybersecurity a tad more seriously and less leeway for "personal" choices to override the protocols.

![]() The same side that ignored the 13 embassy attacks and over 200 dead under a Republican President..... The most in the history of the United States. Oh man, the outrage over that ...oh wait.
