Wakening the sleeper wasn't ever supposed to happen in the first place. SoE admitted that. Then they allowed it to happen, cause chaos and then screw everyone else by not allowing anyone else to get Exquisite/Primals.

I believe their thought process back then was, ST is the end game for Velious. But they changed their minds and it screwed a lot of potential guilds out of getting items and experiencing the raid. Was really stupid of them.

Primals still drop in a MUCH more limited capacity from Progenitor and Master of the Guard. However, they apparently drop 1-2 primals each, while the Warders can drop more (up to 4 primals?). Then there is also the reduced boss number (2 vs 6).

You also lose out on all the additional Warder loot (like Shroud of Longevity and Mask of Tinkering).

Classic or not this server stops in velious, to allow anyone to kill sleepers and troll the rest of the server out of limited content would be an awful managerial decision.

Thanks for the clarification.

My point is: SoE never intended for it. So, they appeased the customers and screwed it all up, just like they did with MANY other decisions later down the line. I just think P99 staff would be better off not allowing this kind of mistake.

It's a classic mistake that needs not to be repeated. Just my opinion.

No ones going to kill him on this server. Not without utilizing exploits. Waking him is a very real threat tho.

From what I remember....wakening him allowed him to roam the lands for...a week or two. Then he waited in his cave...correct?

Read the first reply. That should eliminate any further battle plans to attempt to down him. And the people that killed him on Rallos were in PoP gear.

You guys are just not trying hard enough obviously. You need more people to kill the sleeper, duh. As I expected, casuals.
