The newer ones have much looser steering and typically come with the turbo 4s instead of the 6 cylinder engines they came standard with before 2012. I just find the older ones drive better.

I got a 2015 loaner and when I brought it back one of the sales guys asked how I liked it. I told him it drove like shit and I'd never buy one. He said they were trying to appeal to the Lexus crowd (i.e. old people).

they moved om from servo to full electric afaik, i don't think feedback suffered a lot though, still superior to other brands np

i like the older versions because they were a lot lighter, these days cars are too fucking heavy

Yeah, way tighter. I have a 2011 and when my wife drives it she'll complain her arms hurt, lol. I love it that way though.

that's a shame. I remember the first time I really got a feel for the steering and sturdiness. I was going down the road trying to find the entrance to the highway, and I spotted it at the last moment. I turned to go for it but I figured I'd have to bail and turn around since I was going fast. Next thing you know, the car's practically at a complete stop and pointing right at the entrance. I was in love.

Coming out of the highway ramps at 50 or so, you barley feel the G force.

completely different experience in my friend's recently purchased one.
