Yes, most people that play bards do damage until a gate class gates. What is your point? No reason to not range nukes as a bard. There is absolutely no way to win if you are just sitting there taking nukes as a bard.

As I said before, I have done that and made casters gate. But how do I secure the kill? Is there a way to do so as a bard?

You don't secure the kills, that is why there are rarely good YT. It is just people backstabbing people not paying attention or finding people in crappy situations. If a caster is outdoors and paying attention there is no reason for them to die unless it is by an enchanter.

Your best bet is to go find some melee out in the middle of a big zone and hope you kill them before their worker mallets procs.

So I've been told. But imagine if Tune was playing a bard these days. I'm sure he'd be killing people left and right. I'm trying to get that good.

Good tip. I've tried this a couple times. Some melees actually have too much HP and MR and can make it to a zone line before I kill them. Thanks for the intelligent response.

Most of Tune's kills came when there was an 8 level PvP range, people didn't have as good of gear, and highsun was overpowered/broken.

If your songs aren't landing on people there is nothing you can do. If you don't have a song memorized then run away, change your song and come back.

Doing melee is not an option. Just move on to the next target or find a group, which is where a bard really shines.
