I don't even think zonelines will be that safe with root landing most the time.

A system that accounts for the deads level and kill/death spread is interesting. It promotes staying in the mid level range to max out your points while forcing you to avoid the higher levels to survive.

Well, on live higher levels were worth more points but there was like a +/- 20 range for getting points at all. I'm not sure if killing a level 20 was the same amount of points if you were 25 or 35 if that makes sense. I think the intent was that there would be really no purpose in sprinting out past everyone - you'd just be sitting there waiting for them to catch up.

The point of being high level is that you can live. Pvp may not be worth points but high level basically means kill power. I think the lack of pvp points means people can't farn their friends in the end to boost points.

In the end pvp is going to happen because if you die and celebs you are severely effed. That is incentive enough. The points system isn't needed as pvp incentive and just encourages players to game the system.

Looking forward to the sirken twitch

What if server was only open 8hrs a day so it is full on war with no late night sneak leveling? Could be dumb but could be cool.

If you make it to 50 why would you even log in again though? If you think people are going to give up on a 100% chance to tie for first you haven't been on R99 very long.

I think this server will be the vast majority of people trying their best to avoid PVP with the current ruleset. PVP will happen, just like PVP happens on R99.

And the point system didn't incentivize pvp, it made it the whole point of the server. The guy who won it on Live wasn't the highest level.

Any "win" condition on a pvp server that is entirely devoid of pvp is dum.
