Thanks so much for this. I know red players get a bad rap and might give you a ton of grief but we are incredibly passionate about what you've done and Discord server is something we never ever thought we'd see again.

I've literally been waiting for this for over a decade and could not be more excited.

Macroquest: My understanding is that people who use this program get flagged and, once in awhile, the underlying info that caused the person to get flagged is looked at and the ones who are verified to have used it are banned.

I hope the GMs have taken into account the possibility of people making new accounts, to avoid repercussions on blue/red, and using this program because of the short life of discord server.

Yeah Discord was hit pretty hard by macroquest users who dominated it on live. I'd love to see that be different this time around.

I'll play it either way but I remember the top finishing guild were all using it and most of their players were known cheaters.

I played the original and was one of the five winners (#HUMBLEBRAG #CLERICPVP). Two of us were TZ players and did not hack.

Most of the server was plagued by hackers, but everyone knew that going in. I think part of the reason SOE released it was to lab rat it for that purpose.

Also SOE never gave me my reward item. Smedley if you're reading this, I still want my item, bitch.

I'll be playing and will probably not make it past level 5 this time since players on R99 are massively better at the game than people were back in 2004. Hope to see VZTZ/R99 bros there even if you're killing my ass.

Well call me Brodo Baggins.

Probably Cleric again. It will be 90% Druids. Original server had some Not Classic (tm) junk in there, like newbie Dark Elf quest armor that had resist stats on it.

There was a halfling ranger who made it past level 30 on that box before dying to Darkenbane (RZ guild that mostly dominated). She was the real winner. I just DA'd or gated whenever someone MQ-ported on top of my head. People abused blind, stuns, and everything else you'd imagine that actually sticks when no one has any gear.
